Matt Holliday ... wow ... a shadow of his former self pops out, infield fly rule takes effect.

He'll heat up as the summer heats up.

Freese almost punched that one into left field, that was right on his hands. Good pitches by Arroyo in this AB so far.

Ground ball to Cabrera ends the inning, 6-4.

Great effort by Arroyo in the 1st inning.

20 pitches...the bulk of their lineup....their strong desire to get a couple of runs back after we scored first...Arroyo not necessarily being "warmed up", yet, as it takes him a while to get his pitches working usually...a hostile St. Louis crowd...etc.

Bronson definitely didn't look to have his best stuff, he was struggling to find his spots against the first few batters but things came together as the inning goes on.

1-2 to Stubbs now and he chases it high and out of the zone for strike 3.

Garcia misses with identical pitches low to Hernandez. Ball 3 outside now 3-0.
