Gameday makes it look like that was ball four, not strike three...and there were only 4 pitches! I can see one, but THREE bad calls?!?!

    Harang not fooling anybody.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Note to Aaron: Stop throwing that POS curve of yours. Figure out how to keep the slider out of the dirt...just don't hang one.

I'll give Harang this: He's battling... He threw a slider over, then two in the dirt, then got another over...he refused to give Willingham a fastball and wouldn't go to his curve. Struck him out on a changeup. Keep fighting Aaron! The guys will score some runs for you.

Bernadina chips a single to short center, run scores.

Harang: Clearly the weak link of the rotation ... and no, I'm not just now figuring this out.

He even nibbles against the opposing pitcher. The guy is barely holding on to his career as a starter. Nibble, nibble, nibble ... extremely hittable when he finally does come in the zone ... not a good recipe.

I'm not sure he's nibbling...he just plain doesn't know where the slider is going today. But your right, he's afraid to throw the fastball for a strike. He did throw a meatball to Dunner on the first pitch, but I think that was because he was 99% sure Dunn wouldn't swing.
