I gotta admit, the Chris Welsh "Reds Losses" Protest pictures are pretty funny, as are the stories.

This pitcher has more walks than strike outs (21/16) in 44 innings and has given up 45 hits. I say if they score no more than 2-3 runs against him....that this team is in a major slump.

Gomes should have had today off. Perfect opportunity.

Not sure what Bruce was waiting for that at bat?

Perhaps Stubbs and Bruce had a bet on who could watch the most strikes tonight?

On seeing pitches....Stubbs is 20th best in the majors, Cabrera is 14th from the bottom.

Giving up a few hits (6 through 4), but 3k's and no walks. His stuff looks good, not great tonight. 58 pitches....I'd guess he'll get a solid 6 if not 7 innings tonight.

More than any Red I can recall, Leake throws more balls that look like meatballs, only to have the batter flailing as the balls zigs or zags.

I don't buy this. Watching the game, he's got a ton of movement. He may not have an out pitch, but its really hard to put good wood on the ball...

...unless your name is Mike Leake.
