Yeah, after seeing LaMarre's K/BB ratio I'm not as thrilled with the pick. I'm still ticked the A's drafted Cabrera two picks ahead of the Reds.

K/BB ratio is more encouraging for his three years at M. 81/49
Phillies take Perci Garner.
He started mostly in LF, only 6 games in CF. I don't know about the glove, but the RH bat with power bat looks good. Our low minor leagues can use the bat.
His Jr. year and prep numbers show lots of power. His thumb injury set him back a bit this season (18 games). He has base stealing speed, as he pinch ran some during the injury and stole bases.
A.J. Cole and Austin Wilson are still available, as are Garin Cecchini and James Paxton.
Not seeing the plus speed in LaMarre anywhere. See that he has solid speed all over the place.
OMG, did we pop our shoulders out of socket with that reach? Yuck. Really wanted the kid that went two spots before us. I bet the Reds did too and panicked. No one had this kid projected as a second-round pick. Total reach IMO.
Start of 3rd round. Nats take Rick Hague, SS, Rice.
Pirates take Mel Rojas Jr.
