    Zach attack. Amid all the talk of Alonso, Frazier and Francisco, the biggest upgrade might be the strong defending Cozart coming up and replacing the auto outs that the Reds have at SS. He started horribly, but he's been quietly hot for a while.

    Reds brass is in Zebulon including Eric Davis, Cam (can't remember his last name), a scout and Walt.

    Sounds like the Reds are getting ready for the post memorial day promotions with some extended spring guys getting onto some rosters, others promoted and some journeyman released.

    Maybe but they usually come around once a year so I wouldn't look too much into it.

    Nope, not me. He's actually referring to Bonifay, a special assistant to the GM who lives in Carolina.

    Bonifay is a special assisitant to the GM, Jocketty. He was the GM of the Pirates when the Mudcats were in their farm system.
