    Funny, but I always remembered Pinson batting 3rd. But looking it up at BR, he batted almost exclusively 2nd early on in his career. Once he got bumped to 3rd (see the 1965 box score), he stayed there.

    I didn't realize or just didn't remember this trade was made during the season. Certainly a good trade for the Reds, Braggs and Bates.
