Impressive. They need to move him up to double A. It's ridiculous that they haven't already.

IIRC, Buchholz was said to have above average power when drafted. This is the first time he has shown it since joining the organization. Even his good year at Billings only produced 3 HRs. Does anyone know if he has been recovering from an injury that would have sapped his power?

I really think Alonso needs to be moved back to AA...if only for a week or two.

On the other hand, Frazier is making progress and hitting much better as the year goes on.

To be honest, there isn't much that the Reds can do. With Dorn and Francisco on the DL options are pretty limited in terms of making any roster moves.

It was reported that Francisco should be back within a week. Dorn will be a little longer.

Anybody know why Andrew Means left the game early tonight?

Dayton's Andrew Means was hit on the hand with the second pitch of the game and could not continue.
