If I were Baker, I would fine Votto for dropping that ball. No excuses for that.

And apparently pitching the Giants low (even below the strike zone) is a recipe for disaster. Ridiculous what they're hitting for base knocks this series...

Bryan Price, you alive? Maybe a visit to the mound might be a good idea?

He's already been out there this inning.

"I'd be careful if I were a rookie taking a long look at an umpire."

While I understand that it's such a thing is part of baseball, an umpire shouldn't change the definition of a strike just because somebody looks at you.

He went out to the mound after Molina's garbage single.

DP gets Leake out the innings. This will have to be a slugfest for the Reds to win this one.

So who would have thought the Reds might only win Harangs start out of this 4 game series?

Wellemeyer leaves the game. Apparently injured himself as he crossed 1st base.

Whoa. Wellemeyer out. Injured himself on the run to 1B.

That could be good for the Reds. The Reds cannot seem to hit this guy. EVER. Despite him not being an amazing talent.

    Batista is coming in.

Batista is a strikeout artist, but also walks a ton. BB/9 around 7.5 on the year.

Can the Reds show some patience?
