NEW YORK, N.Y. — A Cincinnati Reds minor leaguer has been suspended 50 games after a second positive drug test.
Outfielder Justin Reed was penalized Thursday under the minor league drug program.
Reed is on the roster of the Reds' affiliate in Billings of the rookie level Pioneer League. The suspension takes effect when the team opens its season on June 21.

Ok. If it is his second, why is he getting only 50 games vs 100?
Justin Reed. OF was a early round pick a few years ago. High School human tool shed. Not a swing made for contact. Was in Sarasota and was demoted to Billings 30 or 40 games ago.
The drug policies in professional baseball are a joke.
Is this "drugs", not "steroids"?
Hugs, smiling, and interactive Twitter accounts, don't mean winning baseball. Until this community understands that we are cursed to relive the madness.
I've heard that the failure probably wasn't a result of steroids. If you're ever in Billings they have the best drugs in the west
