He did at first, then changed his call midstream. He made the right call. BP's lazy turn allowed the runner to beat the throw. Just completely awful. I can't stand stuff like that. Play the game hard or take a seat. Surprised Dusty will stand for that BS.

It's always funny how the box score doesn't include anything about "loafing." That's why it pays to watch the game. The box score usually doesn't tell the whole story or even close.

What's this dumb stuff that Cabrera does when he takes a pitch and moves out of the batter's box while in the process? Bush league.

Phillips is having a terrible game. Nice job hacking at the first pitch against a guy like Farnsworth.

I should have added a smiley and written it ou/fe ... But he did end up with the right call.

I think Phillips feels so at ease in the field that it allows him to make plays no one else would think of, but it also to lollygag at times.

I thought BP didn't get a good grip on the ball.

I'd say he's entitled to one at this point, it happens, just like everyone else, and he doesn't get days off.

Do you guys ever wonder day to day how this team wins? Really, it's been amazing, don't get me wrong I'm enjoying it but the baseball part of me just can't see it lasting.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Looks like a totally different pitcher innings 1-4 compared to 5 & 6. *sigh* Oh well, let's get some more runs on the board!
