Cueto walks Posednik. Price to the mound. I don't recall Cueto having control problems in the minors.

Honestly, after all the heat Dick Pole took last year, I think it's about time Bryan Price took some. I thought he was going to be a top pitching coach for this team after reading about his history with the D-Backs, and guess what? He hasn't made this staff ANY better. Not even a BIT. You can hardly credit him with Leake's awesomeness, and every other pitcher on our staff has gotten worse. It's about time we start asking questions about what the hell Price is even DOING for this staff. Our pitching was supposed to be a strength this year, and its been horrible!

Falls behind 2-0. I guess our long man, Owings, is unavailable. Throw some strikes, Cueto. 3-0.

As a post script to that as well, can anyone name a single pitcher on our staff, PERIOD, that has improved from last year to this year? A SINGLE one? Bullpen or starters?

Walks Kendall to load the bases. Cueto nearing 50 pitches in the second. He won't go more than six max. If that.

The pitch count is getting pretty high for this stage of the game.

We need Cueto to pitch some innings tonight. Better start getting some quick outs.

He isn't really close to the strike zone according to Game Day.

Horrible 3rd ball call there, totally a strike.

Cueto struggled in the second half last year.
Bailey struggled in the first half.
Harang sucked for the most part.
Arroyo had a good second half.

I think Harang is pitching better this year.
    Arroyo is Arroyo.
    Bailey has been inconsistent.
Cueto was good last month and sucks now.

And we blow another 4 run lead. This time in all of 2 innings.

Bases clearing double and the Royals lead 5-4. Gomes misplays that one badly.
