Nothing like getting a start for the first time in a month and having to face Greinke. Poor Janish.
Dusty packing this one in. He always sends such a great message to his players, in the way he gives up.
I rather have Junior back sleeping in the clubhouse than this bum.

Does alot for your confidence, doesn't it.
But when we're teeing off on an opposing pitcher and have a big lead, like last night, Dusty doesn't think to put Janish in the game to give him some innings.
Wish we would have hit one of their batters in retaliation for yesterday.
I totally agree in that situation. Would love him to start, maybe someone can work with him on his batting!
Nice to know that run would have tied it had we had a semi competent bullpen.

Pathetic showing. My guess is after the Dodgers series the Reds are in 2nd place. Just horrible showing. This whole homestand hasn't been exactly stellar. Changes need to be made. Both in starting pitching and in the bullpen.
So far on this homestand, 7 games, 2 quality starts against two teams not known for offense. Just terrible.
They're lucky to only be 3-4.
Also, I'm really freaking sick and tired of the Sunday Specials. One player, okay, but you can't run out crap lineups just because it's Sunday.
The bad news is Thursday is a day game after a Wed. night game. That means no Rolen and probably a few other guys. So we'll get two Sunday special lineups this week. And 3 Sunday Specials in 7 games.
