i dont get all the stubbs hate, he is hitting over .300 in the last month w solid run, rbi, and HR numbers and he plays a heck of a CF

its not like hes willie tavares. hes not in his mid 30s and a career .250 hitter. he is in his first full year starting, gotta give the guy time to adjust to the major league level jsut a little.

It works when you play teams like Houston, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee and the Cubs, but not when you face good pitchers. Against good pitchers, you have to take pitches and not let them go 8 or 9 innings against you, even if it means you're swinging from behind in the count a lot. You can always protect the plate w/ 2 strikes, not swing for the fence like the REDS have done all night, and foul off three or four pitches and make the pitcher work. Not a chance with Baker's philosophy.

If the Reds keep running Harrang out there, they deserve to lose. He's horrible.

Yea Cairo is so good against Lee but didnt have the stones to trust the stats enough to bat him higher than 9th. Guy seriously is just a walking "hes due" cliche.

It is retractable. It takes 20 minutes. But it's not indoors. It just puts an umbrella over the stadium.

Good pitchers become better pitchers when they get ahead. Not everyone swings at the first pitch, but there is no reason to let the pitcher have the free pass to get ahead. If the hitters are chasing bad pitches that is the problem of the hitter. The best pitch you are likely to get from Lee, Carpenter, etc. is the first strike. Cause after they get ahead the beat you in, away, off-speed, etc.
