I have this "thing" about swinging at the first pitch but it sure looks like we'll be seeing a lot of that tonight. Lee is too good at getting ahead.

I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

Ahhh, that could have been a great start for the Reds but I'm glad they got some hits right off the bat. I don't blame them for wanting to hit early pitches from Lee. He's a strike thrower for sure and if you wait too long he'll kill you with the offspeed or cutting stuff.

Keels just said that was the second out of the inning. I've watched a ton of sports in my day and have never seen any announcer mess up as much as this guy.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

Corky catching for some reason. Wonder if RH is hurt?

Hmmm, that's an odd change. If anyone finds out anything please post it here. I'm going to check a few places.

Glad they kept Ichiro off the bases but you gotta keep Figgins off them too.

Oh boy....if Hernandez is hurt, we are in a world of hurt at that position.
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......

If the TV broadcast says anything, I'll post it. Full count on Figgins, BTW.

I think I read that Hanigan may be available as early as next week.

Denove is a suitable replacement, and Wilkin hasn't been putrid with the bat this year.
