I think the Reds are striking out more than 9 times per 9 innings the last 6 games.

The bullpen didn't give up any runs in the Mariners' series, but then they didn't have to pitch any 9th innings, either.

Letting Cairo DH instead of letting Leake hit has paid off for Baker.

How many pitches per inning do you think the opp pitcher is avg over that span?

But hey, hack away. Don't worry about this guy not being a strike thrower. Just go up there hacking, boys. Never mind the fact that you aren't hitting **** right now and you definitely don't want to give him a chance to help you out. Swing from the heels.

Leake throws a gem and et again, no win. He'd be 12-1 for the Rays or Yankeespp

Good news - Their pitcher is at 105 pitches. We'll likely at least get to see a reliever shove it up our ass the next couple of innings.

This PBP man for the Reds is the perfect cure for insomnia. Not that this team isn't doing a hell of a job on its own.

The opposing starting pitchers threw 709 pitches

    Starters faced 198 batters

    3.5 pitches per batters faced.

Not exactly what you asked for but thats what I did the math for lol.

Masset's overuse in April and May reared it's ugly head in June. He's gotten some rest lately, so he may be able to turn it around and get back to being the "good" pitcher that he is.

Wouldn't you hate to have to pitch for this team right now. Anything other that a perfect game you likely lose.
