He should not have been out there tonight. If he takes the mound tomorrow I am going to fly to Oakland and shoot Dusty.

    OK. I won't do that.

I will wait for them at the airport. Why spend the money to fly to Oakland on getaway day. I might miss him.

It's always something with Cordero. I can count the number of clean innings he's had this year on one hand probably, whether he's rested or not. Maybe he shouldn't have been out there tonight, but it doesn't change the fact that he is sucking this season. Thankfully he came through, though.

If Dusty runs him out there again tomorrow he might not be allowed to fly home with the team, it might be Greyhound time for toothpick.

I wonder how an inning like that gets Cordero's confidence back? Yes, he got the save. But even he knows that he struggled. Again. You can't keep allowing two baserunners and inning without it coming back to bite you...a lot.

Think Joe wants to take Chris Welsh's job since he works for the Reds now?

“I told them I was done,” Arroyo said. “I had used up my reserve. I felt like Coco had a better opportunity to get those lefties out with his power arm. They had been seeing me all night. I really didn’t mix it up. I didn’t feel like I could command the inner half of the plate to the lefties.”
That pretty much explains why Bronson didn't come out for the 9th.

That's true, but it could be like Jon Miller who also does Giants games during the week.
