Actually he was aquitted of conspiracy but convicted of failure to pay taxes and was given a 3 year sentence. He's free while it's being appealed.

I dont know what baseball movies you are watching but I've never heard anyone else say such a thing. What baseball movies would you say suck and which ones would you say are good?

I loved Major League 2 just as much as the original. I hated the third one, though.

Cobb meh, I don't like the structure as much as I liked the book, A league of their own is good, but I see that as much a period piece as baseball movie, the original BNB is good, but not a "baseball movie" by my definition as for the rest you can have em, especially the last 3.

Loved the Cobb biography. Hated that Tommy Lee Jones played Cobb. Really poor casting.

The Sandlot isn't a baseball movie as much as it has baseball in it. But it is a great movie.

I do have 61. The Rookie is a nice family film. Bull Durham is great. I own but hate For Love of the Game.

For love of the game is a good movie that figured out date movies probably make more money.

You should check out Sugar. It is very good. Make sure you watch the BluRay edition instead of the DVD, though; the DVD was edited to be more "family friendly" and is missing some key scenes as a result!

I think Scott Rolen at the plate looks like the bad guy in those movies. The big mean bearded slugger for the other team.

For Love Of The Game is great. I love it because Chapel pitches a perfecto against the Yankees as much as anything else.
I hate the Cardinals. I hate the Cubs.

If you haven't read the novel by Michael Shaara you should. I don't care for the movie version but the book is beautiful.
