    Another 'Major League' Sequel?

I loved the original, but the sequels were pretty bad, not to mention, these guys are kinda old for this now...

David S. Ward tells MovieHole.net he's in the middle of studio negotiations to revamp the baseball film franchise, and he's hoping to bring back the stars of the 1989 original.

Please, please, please...no! Each Major League movie has been worse than the one that preceded it and I don't see the trend reversing. The first flick is a classic, the rest are money grabs pure and simple.

Major League 2 was good, but yea they are all kinda too old now.

Major League 3 was decent when you take into consideration what it was, and what it had to work with.

Well the sequels were made to try to grab a larger audience and so they sucked. If they make it, what roles are the original cast gonna play?

Ricky comes out of retirement to join Cincinnati who needs bullpen help and mentor Aroldis Chapman while teaching Jay Bruce and Joey Votto not to be such goody two shoes.

    Wesley Snipes is 48.
    Chelcie Ross is 68.

I have to believe most of the guys will be coaches, with Berenger's Jake Taylor back as manager. I don't recall in ML2, was Dorn the owner at the end, or did he sell back to Rachel Phelps?

I think he was acquitted of those charges. Now Charlie Sheen is another matter.

That was my thought. Years after they saved the Indians, they're brought in to coach another bunch of losers after the current owner has sold off all the Indians' star players to the Yankees, kind of like real life.
