Volquez hit 98 MPH on the stadium gun last inning. One thing I have seen early on though, is he seems to be leaving his change up up in the zone, rather than the bottom of the zone to take advantage of the tumble he gets on the pitch.
Louisville is throwing some serious heat out there today. Volquez is hitting 97/98, Chapman can hit 101. Valiquette has touched 100 before, maybe they'll bring him in after Chapman.
Groundout to begin the third inning for Volquez.
Volquez has definitely been watching the Reds pitchers. He retired the first seven hitters easily but has now given up a single and a double to the No. 8 and 9 hitters. Sac fly gives Toledo a 1-0 lead.

Sac fly to center. 1-0 Mud Hens.
Dickerson was too sore after BP to play today.
