Tom Cochran on the hill tonight for the Mudcats. He's up 3-0 right now behind Negron's HR. Carolina is 0-3 in the second half.

I'm a big Travis Wood fan. Plan to see him next week in Durham.

Carolina up 5-1 in the seventh. Cochran's night is done after five. Don't really understand only five innings either. Medina is on the hill in relief and he is feast or famine.

Negron with six total bases tonight.

    Wood: 7 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 8 K, 88 pitches/59 strikes.

He deserves a shot in the majors, IMO.

With how hes throwing it right now it certainly seems like hes got what made him very good last year back working.

Just where is there a spot for him?

I like what they are doing. Shine him up and ship him out in about a month.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

Tim Crabbe threw five shutout innings in his start tonight for Dayton, with one hit, six BB and six K. The Dragons led 4-2 going into the bottom of the ninth. Now it's extras. Oy.
