    Hopefully that's the reason.

It was not the professional debut that Tanner Robles had in mind: 2.2 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 2 K

Interesting that Yorman is in RF with Dayne Read in CF.

According to the game log, Duran's HR was to CF and Yorman's was to RF. IIRC, most of Yorman's homers last season were to the opposite field. That's impressive.

Dayton has brought in Pedro Villareal to pitch the 11th and protect a 6-4 lead.

LaMarre has 4 steals already? I'm liking this pick.

The radio announcer said both were shots, that would be out in any park.

If you look at this in relation to other moves, Jordan Smith up from AA and Chapman going to the pen, it looks to me that WJ is focused on bolstering the bullpen with some of the best arms in the organization. It doesn't mean that, like Chapman, Boxberger will not go back to starting next year. With Volquez coming back, Homer on the way, and Wood pitching well, starting pitching is not the greatest need at the moment.

Consensus seemed to be that Cameron Satterwhite was not much of a prospect. He has three doubles tonight to raise his average to .379.

If you look at the bullpen performance of not only the Reds this year but also the system at large, it's hard to argue with that decision.

What a difference a day makes...yesterday Louisville, Carolina, and Lynchburg combined for only three runs. Tonight they managed a total of 27.

Oh my. Lansing scored three in the bottom of the 11th to beat Dayton.

It looked like the organization was set up for a clean sweep tonight, all the way from Cincinnati to Venezuela. So much for that.

    Duran just walked:

    Yorman: 2-for-3 HR (#1), 2 RBI
    Duran: 1-for-2 HR (#1), walk

If LeCure pitches poorly tomorrow I wouldn't mind Wood taking his spot in the rotation. Especially since Bailey still appears to be around a month away from starting in Cincy.
