We were something like 26-20 last year. I think we can do it, but we need to stay healthy and keep this rotation firing.

This club is so much better than last year's club.

As soon as Sutton replaces Cairo, we'll be better. Now that Sutton's hitting (better than anyone in Louisville the last 10 games), it should be very soon.

I agree that we'll be much better when we replace Cairo. And I agree we are better this year. But I dont think we can expect the same production out of LF (even though I have been a Gomes supporter since spring training 09). Our needs now, in my opinion, are a leadoff hitter and a cleanup hitter.

It's hard to find a player on the team who isn't OPS-ing in the high-800's through May, while some are OPS-ing over 1.000 (like Gomes and Nix, the guys you want to replace).

Healthy is definately the rub. It's looking like Rolen is the rock upon which this team is built, and he's already hurting. Votto, Bruce, the young lion pitchers, or somebody has got to take on the the role of being the foundation and being the difference maker(s).

Look what Laynce Nix did the last two games after his guffaw in LF in Atlanta? Talking about someone stepping up.

And, a Major Kudos to Dusty Baker for putting Laynce Nix into the starting lineup the last two games and giving him a chance to recover and prove himself to his teammates.

Can't say enough about that Major Move by Dusty Baker!!!
