I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

Okay, it's kinda depressing...but I DO actually know that song. It's garbage...but I do know it. And NO 1 hit wonder ever had a "generation" of their own.

This has to be one of the funniest game threads in awhile. Nothing hightlights the difference in generations like hip hop.

I remember Young MC. His one hit was a big dance song at all my high school dances and I have to admit, I do still like to hear it in the car every once in a while. Not too often though, LOL :P:

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

I'd never though I'd see a redszone gamethread turn into a rap discussion.

If you attach yourself to lil wayne, good things will probably happen to you. See also: nicki minaj (who is god awful but is popular because she attached herself to young money).

Nice job by Cueto limiting the damage.

Hard to top the lyrics to bust a move by Young MC. Pure Gold.

    Good things Career-wise, yes.

Nicki Minaj is horrible, but I'd say she gained some popularity through young money, but has gained more noteriety for her, well, UNIQUE way of signing autographs.

    Lets go Reds!

Speaking of rap, did anybody see that MC Hammer is preforming before/after a game in a couple of weeks? They kept showing those promos at the games this weekend, and I was shocked Hammer was still doing shows anywhere, much less Reds games.
