I saw the Harold and Kumar Christmas Movie. It is exactly what you think it is.

Went to the Mariemont to see "Sarah's Key". Good movie. French-made Holocaust movie and re-released to generate some Oscar buzz. It came out last summer and got lost in the mega-summer explosion-fests that dominate.

It's not without flaws, but at least a movie that makes you think a little. I'd recommend it. A well-told tale.

I believe this is the exact opposite of Harold and Kumar: A Very 3D Merry Christmas.

Watched two movies over the weekend..... Tower Heist... it is pretty funny. A good but not great movie. I'd give it a 7-7.5 out of 10. Eddie Murphy is funny again (first time in what, 15 years?)

Also watched Bad Teacher... it was pretty funny

    V for Vendetta
    The Devil's Own
    Too Big to Fail
    There Will Be Blood
    TrollHunter
    Brick

An interesting mix for sure haha. I watched V for obvious reasons. There Will Be Blood benefited from this being my second viewing. I would probably enjoy Brick more if I gave it a second go as well...

So we watched Tree of Life last night.....it was ok, except I think I got a bootleg copy of the movie because it kept cutting back and forth between Tree of Life and The Discovery Channel's Planet Earth. I called the Playstation Store where I downloaded it from to let them know so they could fix the issue, but they just hung up on me.

I saw "The Decendants" with George Clooney on Saturday. I didn't like it as much as I wanted to. It was very well acted and the characters were well developed, but they were mostly unlikeable and the story was boring.

Saw "The Kings Speech", meh if you ask me. Decent movie but don't know what everyone was raving about.

I do like those other movies.

I do think part of the problem with this movie was the George Clooney's character is supposed to be this bumbling, uncordinated, akward guy like Miles in Sideways, but it's George Clooney.

It is by no stretch a bad movie, I just thought it was going to be better.

Yeah, The King's Speech was remarkable. I don't know what you didn't like, bucksfan2.

I'm gonna be watching Election soon, here's to hoping this Payne guy knows how to make a movie...

Personally I loved The Kings Speech but I know what it feels like to differ from widespread opinion on a film. I am in the same boat regarding No Country For Old Men.

I loved both of those films. Although I know many people who didn't care for Kings Speech, No Country or There will be Blood when I loved them all.
