That pitch was clearly a strike, no clue what the argument is.

Werth walks on a strike and now the Phillies get upset about a strike being called.

Probably confused since he hasn't been calling that pitch most of the night -- but it was in the zone.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

WOW, I just woke up my entire house screaming after Joey hit that HR, LOL

And Joey better be on the All Star team after this week no matter what happens tomorrow. THAT type of clutch hitting is what Charlie Manuel needs on the NL team. Let's get this one Sir Arthur!

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

7-6 Phillies. Stubbs bobbled the ball on the track and just could not hold on to it. Scoreless streak is over.

Stubbs is epically overrated as defender.

He approaches the wall like a big sissy.

OUCH!!!! Stubbs had that. He looks ugly at the wall. What's he leaping for?
