OGT: Brews @ Cards (MLB TV)

Just in case I'm not the only one with nothing better to do on a Friday nite (sad, huh?)

7/2 Brewers (Narveson) vs. Cardinals (Garcia)
    Posted: 07/02/2010 07:15 PM
    Brewers:
    Weeks
    Hart
    Fielder
    Braun
    McGehee
    Lucroy
    Gomez
    Escobar
    Narveson

    Cardinals:
    Lopez
    Rasmus
    Pujols
    Holliday
    Stavinoha
    Molina
    Ryan
    Garcia
    Greene

Ludwick was DL'ed...infielder Tyler Green brought up. Ok Brews, the Reds opened a can of whoopass on the Cubs today. What you gonna do?

I like this new Pujols. You know, the one who grounds into double plays and chokes in the clutch.

He's not that new...been doing it since last year. He seems to feast in blowouts, but is NO machine in the clutch. (best kept secret in the MLB)

    2-0 Cards

This is what some of the Card's message boards are saying about him. They are saying the same things that people used to say about Dunn, that he only hits home runs or drives in runs when they Cards are either 5 runs up or 5 runs down. Whether or not that is true it obviously is happening enough that people are noticing it more.

Right, Hal...that soft line drive don't get Lopez in w/a good throw.

Bringing the Green kid back up pays quick dividends....4-0 Cards.

Garcia has his good stuff for the Brewski's. But he usually only goes 6 innings.
