Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

I don't think that's fair. I'm 35 and pretty mature and I'd be pretty pissed off today if I got shafted like I did earlier today. I don't blame him...sure it sucks that he got tossed, but c'est la vie. Can't blame him today.
maybe votto figured if leading the league in most offensive categories doesnt get him any national attention then he should try another way..
