Volquez is all over the place but guys are chasing. Kraatz doubles in Clement.

Kratz hits a double on a 3-0 pitch.

    Plates someone who doubled.

The Volquez that I'm watching doesn't look like a guy who will be great against major leaue hitters. Some command issues.

Frazier pops to very shallow RF.

FC 3-6. Good pick-up by Yonder but bad decision.

He's had them before, but that worries me, too.

I still think they're rushing him back. And that makes little sense on several levels. His arm. His control. And whose spot does he take?

Volquez has a lifetime 4.6 BB/9, 5.8 last year. Shouldn't be surprising he lacks command.

Melillo steals second, AKI walks and Melillo advances on a wild one.

This is worse than I remember. The hitters have chased a bit or it would be worse.

    DP GO. 6-3. Volkie escapes.

If you read what he's saying, he's admitting he needs more time. After his start in Durham he said he needs a couple more starts at AAA.
