    Mets Lineup:

    Reyes 6
    Pagan 8
    Wright 5
    Davis 3
    Bay 7
    Francoeur 9
    Barajas 2
    Tejada 4
    Santana (5-5, 3.41)

Bruce batting in front of Gomes tonight, likely because Jonny is 0-8 with something like 6ks against Johan.

    Gomes career against Santana:

    8 at-bats, 6 K's, 1 walk, no hits.

    Votto:
    10 ab's, 2 K's, 3 hits, 1 walk

Shoulda called up GMJ. He's 5 for 17 against Santana with 2 HR's.

    Phillips:
    4-15, 1 double, 1 triple, 2 walks, 3 k's

Sounds like a good reason to give Gomes a day off and play Heisey.

    From Fay Blog: http://cincinnati.com/blogs/reds/

    Left-hander Matt Maloney is here.

“I’m planning on pitching,” he said. “They are going to let know closer to game time.”

Aaron Harang is not sure if he can start or not.

“I haven’t talk to them yet,” Harang said.

A pitcher needs to bring his "A" game to get through that REDS' lineup.

Even with Corky Miller and Cabrera, that's got to be the best lineup in baseball right now.

That's probably what I should have said. I don't even know the lineups in the AL (nor do I care as it's "the other" league).

Imagine if the Reds had a SS that could hit. This line up would be pretty nice.
