    Where's Tatum ?

With Hanigan out and Hernandez nursing an injury, I was wondering who might have to back up Corky ? Mesoraco's not on the 40 man. And now I don't find Craig Tatum, who made a few starts last year. Anybody know what became of him ?

Valentin actually had a couple of decent years with the Reds. I think he was released by the Mets last year, and haven't heard anything of him since.

We have to have a better in house option than Valentin. Don't get me wrong dude would jump on a 1st pitch fastball like no one else, but no thanks. I don't want him back. We already have Corky again, we don't need another ghost of Reds past coming and hitting under .300 for us.

Trust me, I want nothing to do with Valentin. I just went back and looked at some of his numbers with the Reds and they weren't awful. He's probably wahed up now anyways. Hanigan will be back shortly, there is no need for another catcher.

I don't think Hernandez is too hurt, just banged up. I think the broadcast said that if he had to catch yesterday he would be out there.
