I attended this game and the two games that followed in this series. I had just a few months before moved to the DC area. I had planned on going only to the Saturday and Sunday games but on the spur of the moment decided to go up on Friday after work. I left work and drove as fast as I could to Philly to try to make it in time. By the time I got there, parked, bought a ticket and found my way to my seat in LF, Larkin had just hit his HR in the 1st inning. It was a good weekend of baseball as the Reds took two out of the three games I attended.
