I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

Someone was blowing a vuvuzela outside the broadcast booth as they went to break. Let it begin...

Doesn't hurt to Vote Votto while you're watching/listening to the game and hangin' in the GT. 5 pitch AB so far for Brandon.

Lets go Reds. I voted some for Votto and Konerko while reading the game thread.

Bunting was a really bad idea. Helped Santana out of trouble there.

Just another chance to be unimpressed by Maloney.

Not sure bunting was such a bad idea. Having a fast runner on 3rd with Votto up and 1 out is not a bad situation to be in.

Re: 7/6- Reds @ Mets- Maloney starting

Cabrera is usually pretty good at moving runners on his own. At least give him a chance to get a hit. Santana is going to be a tough match up even for Votto. Santana will get plenty of outs on his own skill I really don't like handing him any for free.

Matt Maloney on the mound. For those who don't know, he's a tall lefty, with an over the top delivery, wearing #56.
