Cisco had a very slow start after being sent down from the majors. See if his end of season numbers don't eclipse Mesoraco's.
I dont know why you want to use the level against Mes so much. Its not like hes the same age as Juan. Juan didnt put up Mes numbers when he was 22 in AA.

For all we know Mes next year in AAA could put up even better numbers. Its relative.

No, Juan put up .359/.384/.598 in AAA when he was 22.

And for all we know Francisco could be putting up those numbers in the bigs next year. It's not about projections, it's about who is hitting in the minor league system right now. And Juan is out-hitting Devon since Devon was called up to AA.

In a limited sample, with an incredibly unsustainable BABIP. Which is why he isn't doing it again this year.

That statement is not about projections. It's about current hitting performance.

What do you think the word prospect means?

What do you think the phrase "this year" means?

I'm talking about a prospect list... Not a "this year list"

And you based your statement around his "hitting so well this year".

If you want to think Mes is hitting better than Francisco, by all means, think that.

Don't have to think it.... he is. Higher average. Much higher OBP. Much higher SLG.

Yes based off this year, his age, and the level there is no reason for me to not suggest hes a top 3 prospect just based off his hitting alone. His season and all the stats that surround it suggest that bat will have a strong chance of playing every day in the big leagues even if it isnt behind the plate.
