I think regardless of what the results are, unless he has a staggering set-back he will be up 2 starts from now.

    That's what it's looking like.

I would think they'd put him on a 100-pitch count the rest of the season (let him finish a batter where he reaches the 100 pitches).

DoH! Spoke too soon. Anyways I would like to hear some of your opinions on juan francisco. Does he have a future with the reds? Replacement when Rolen retires? or is he eventually gonna be traded for a big name player. to me he is quite the enigma.

Fisher closes out a 2 hit shutout for the Bats. They win 3-0.

Yet another very strong start for Scott Carroll, in a 3-1 Carolina win: 8 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 7 K. Nice to see his strikeouts picking up again. His ERA is 2.73.

Dayton won 6-0. Alexis Oliveras had a grand slam. Cameron Satterwhite back on the beam with 3 hits. The starter, Ryan Bowen, only went 2/3 of an inning, for whatever reason, but the relief was spectacular (well, except for the walks). Jason Braun: 3.1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 7 K. Ezequiel Infante: 3 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 3 K. Junior Martinez: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 1 K.
