Wood is pitching great through 83 pitches. Guess he should probably be pulled, huh?
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Perhaps we should have a cover charge?

I must admit...I do like how he called for the chin music on the first pitch to Werth. That was ALL Ryan.

I was wondering if he was calling the game...it's been interesting. They just threw Werth 7 straight fastballs to strike him out. Knowing the change-up is Woods best pitch, I was wondering why. Maybe they think Werth was sitting on the change...it worked!

Stubbs has to get this bunt down.

    Miggy!
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Stubbs squares to bunt. I'm not happy with this.
