Wow, I know I said it last night but Wlad is absolutely raking lately. 6 homers in his last 10 games

For those with an Android or Blackberry phone, you can get a cool app to follow the Billings Mustangs called Pioneer Baseball. It is an app that has stories from local papers on each team (you can choose your team so you only get those) as well as pictures and schedules. Pretty cool and thought I would share it with you guys in case you wanted it. Its also free, which is always a plus.

Mudcats at Montgomery tonight for a 8:05 start time. Matt Fairel (4-3 with a 5.09 ERA) gets the start. He didn't face the Biscuits when they swept Carolina here last week.

Actually 6 in his last 11 but he's slugging .917 over his last 10.

And Francisco has 6 in his last 8 games.

I haven't heard it, but I bet it happens because he just isn't going to get moved to the Reds 40 man roster and he has played well enough that I bet some team is willing to give him another chance.

Edit: Jayson Stark is reporting this.

Might be time to find a spot for Balentine on the big club. I don't think it will happen but he could easily replace Nix and bring a little pop to the bench. Don't think Dusty would ever just cut Nix though.
