Wednesday's Nationals/Reds game has been picked up by ESPN

The Reds will make another appearance on ESPN when the Reds host the Nationals on Wednesday, July 7. This is the fourth Reds game on national TV this season. (I am not including MLB Network as a national TV network)

Monday, April 5 - St. Louis @ Cincinnati - ESPN
Wednesday, June 2 - St. Louis @ Cincinnati - ESPN
Wednesday, July 7 - Cincinnati @ New York Mets - ESPN

Wednesday, July 21 - Washington @ St. Louis - ESPN
    Saturday, July 31 - Atlanta @ Cincinnati - FOX
Monday, August 9 - St. Louis @ Cincinnati - ESPN

Lets pound Strasburg and give them a new story to talk about!

I'm at a remote location or I would just look up the Reds schedule...but what date do you actually mean? (July 7 having already passed). Also, why is the Stl-Washington game from July 21 in the list of Reds national games?

It was a typo. It's now corrected. Apparently you can't edit the first post in a thread so the correction is noted above.

Maybe in August/September? IIRC ESPN's Sunday Night schedule is pretty much set in stone until the end of July and then they can pick and choose from there on out.

edit: Yeah, July 25th was the last date that was announced back in January when they came out with the schedule. After that they announce them a few weeks before the date. I know the Red Sox/Yankees game in the second week of August will be on, don't know about the other dates.

That's weird, I don't seem to ever see Yankees-Red Sox games on TV.

Gross, exact quote from ESPN. "And on Wednesday, Nationals and Reds. But not just Nationals and Reds, STEPHEN STRASSBURG!!!" Thank goodness it'll be blacked out in my area and I won't have to listen to them gush.
