Over the past 30 days, Reds pitchers have put up a 2.89 ERA which is best in the NL and over .6 runs better than the 2nd place team, the Braves.

HOWEVER (you knew there was a "however," right?) they've also put up a 4.38 FIP and a 4.58 xFIP which is near the bottom of the league. The difference between their ERA and FIP is -1.49 which almost a run worse than the Cardinals.

OK, and I have to go to a meeting so you guys can chew on that one!
