    Mes pops out to the first baseman on a 3-0 count. Pitch looked right down hte middle on the game day thing. No idea how accurate that is.

    18-year-old Oswaldo Mieres of the VSL Reds ran his record to 5-2 today in a 5-1 victory: 7.2 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 4 K. Catcher Julio Morillo, 17, was 3 for 3 with a BB.
