one thing that is keeping this team..

from being successful is another bat in this lineup, this season has been a memorable one but, one thing that would put us over the top is getting a top solid hitter at the deadline. will jocketty pull the move? what is your thoughts, cardinals are getting hot at the right time and you know they will make a move but, we have to counter a move because if we don't they could beat us in this division, we need a big bat in this lineup or a solid late inning reliever.

yea, I am going to try to make a list of possible available players, I do agree with you, But I think there maybe some holes that people may not be seeing. The Reds may even be able to pick up some talent cheap.

I'll take Corey Hart or Adam Dunn please. Tons of prospects that can be used as trade bait...Jay Bruce is one.

I'll Tell you someone who the Reds should Consider going after,

Yuniesky Betancourt (SS KC) the guy is only hitting .259 but has 7 Homers and 42 RBI's. Compare that to Orlando Cabrera, .252 2 homeruns and only 33 RBI. We may be able to trade Janish and a Mid level Prospect for.

So you want to trade for another Orlando Cabrera, while losing the leadership Orlando brings to the lineup?

I think Stubbs is coming into his own production wise. That will help.

They should be trying to get better, not worse.

Maybe play Janish more to see what he can do. Or, how about bring up Dorn and Valaika?

Paul Janish isn't allowed to start more than once a week, it's in his contract.

And put Dunn back in the outfield? Ugh....I always said when he was with the Reds he should be moved to first.
