I just finished " A False Spring" by Pat Jordan and highly recommend it. It details the life of Pat Jordan who was a bonus baby pitcher for the Braves in the 1960's. The book is unique in that Jordan ultimately was a huge failure and Jordan gives alot of insight of why he was. Its also a neat read because it gives great insight of what it was like to play in the low level minor league in small towns during the 1960s. A real good book IMO.

Almost done with The Word Exchange by Alena Graedon. It's a dystopian-type novel about a word flu that causes people to forget language and, in some cases, lose all communication ability. It stems from our very real reliance on technology for knowledge, and it's great.

And you're reading this now?

I am going to give Bernard Cornwell's Waterloo a try.
I've been re-reading Arthur Machen lately (thus the avatar and quote), but I'm to the point now where what I'm reading seems too fresh. I've had a JQ Adams bio waiting, and I may get to it. Or I'll lose all patience and go ahead and get the audio version of Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology. Or both.

Started reading The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. It's over 1100 pages in Kindle. I will be breaking this up throughout most of 2017.
