Doug, thanks for the broadcast links on your web site. (For anyone interested, they're always included with the day's schedule, at the tail end of the daily game review from the previous night.) It's easy as can be, and they bring up the games immediately.

Who pitches for Dayton Saturday night? JCS? I am going, and will try to snap a few pictures.
The Sox traded Bullfrog the only player they've got for Shottenhoffen. Four-eyes Shottenhoffen a utility infielder. They've got a whole team of utility infielders.

AZL Reds, after leading 5-0 early, lose 7-5. They made six errors, including two each by Arias and first baseman Robert Maddox. Kurtis Muller had three hits.

was at the louisville game... balentien got fooled on his first hr and kind of reached out and hit one 415 feet. his second hr must have just snuck in the rf foul pole because i lost sight of it... frazier's hr was just mashed to lf!... herrera made the aaa hitters look foolish and then valiquette and chapman came in throwing smoke. valiquette was throwing 93-95 and hit 97 a couple times. when he got hit, he got burned on his offspeed stuff. chapman couldn't find the plate in the bullpen, but came in throwing strikes. the leadoff double was the only ball hit really hard off him and it would have been caught if matthews wasnt shaded way over to rf. chapman followed that batter by k'ing freddie freeman on 3 straight fastballs at 96,97 and 98. he worked 94-98 and hit 100 twice. i think bruce would have had both of the hits to rf in chapman's 2nd inning of work, as balentien almost caught them both diving. he seemed to have decent command of his slider, as he threw alot of strikes with it, but the braves werent swinging at it. he tried a few changups (90-91)that were no where close.

My current work hours dictate I get in the bed pretty early each evening as I have to be at work at 3 in the morning. As a result, I miss being able to listen to some games. To log on and see what Fairel accomplished is absolutely Christmas in July, wow! Torrero with a huge night at the plate. This team is so unpredictable. The additions of Torrero and Perez have helped this team to the up side. Can't wait until they get home.

Not doug, but it's usually just technique. He hasn't yet mastered the art of when to go. (Mor pitcher motion than pitch.) This results in really poor jumps, oftentimes.

Eric Davis was an absolute beast at getting great jumps, as was Larkin. That entire generation of players were very, very good. Whoever taught them should be brought in to teach Hamilton for a couple of weeks. It could mean the difference between 35 and 75 steals.
