I just wonder how likely it is that the Reds would loose Nix to another team if they cut him.I'd like him in Sept. considering he isn't a terrible LH PH option,a good option to pinch run and a good defensive replacement. That's a lot of things he can do to help win games down the stretch. It just needs to be decided if the team wants Dickerson and Heisey for the rest of July and Aug. and are willing to loose Nix to have them. It's a harder decision then it seems.

Hey Captain Hook, how does that work? does a Team just claim Nix if he is sent down and he has the option to go with them?

Howdy folks! How is everyone doing tonight? I've been without Reds baseball for almost a week (I was on vacation in case anyone noticed I was gone : ) and I'm ready for the guys to put a whooping on Mr. Oswalt tonight. WOOT!

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

These are my favorite Astro's old uni's. Love the Rainbow sleeves. The whole rainbow top jersey was a bit too much.

Cabrera continues to hit well lately. I think they should try moving him back to leadoff with Phillips batting 2nd.
