How did Homer Bailey win the Fan's Choice bobblehead selection??! I voted for Arthur Rhodes.
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Your national league MVP hits a slow roller to 2nd in a 6-0 game in the 8th inning and sprints the entire way.

We are just lucky to have that guy.

That was voted on in the early part of the season. If the voting would have happened later I am sure it would be someone else that won.

Nows the time to see Heisey batting. I know, he got a hit. But I'd like to see Heisey too

Nix is doing all he can to keep his job.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

You know... You've been ahead of me the whole game... I mean you'd have the play before I saw it on TV and that is weird... I couldn't figure it out...

Then I remembered back in the 1st, I hit rewind to rewatch the Votto homer and listen to Thom call him Jonny Votto...

    I'm now in "real" time...

Didn't look like anyone was up in the pen. Jordan Smith wasn't for sure.
