The Best Fantasy Pitching Staff EVAR!

So we had our fantasy draft the other day and it was an auto draft. I ranked my draft order out to 250 in a 11 team league and just about sh*t a brick when I saw my pitching staff. This is freakin ridiculous.

    Zack Greinke
    Roy Halliday
    Tim Lincecum
    Chris Carpenter
    Dan Haren
    Andrew Bailey
    Mariano Rivera
    Ryan Franklin
    David Aardsma

Are you also the owner of the other 10 teams in the league?

Hitters who avoid outs are the funnest.

Your starters are great no doubt, but after Rivera your bullpen is shaky. Aardsma and Franklin are both due for a big let-down, and might lose their closer jobs, and Bailey is hurt.

I'd like to see what type of offense you managed to get as well.

Clearly you are the best pitching team in your league, even without seeing the other teams rosters.

However, with such great pitching your hitting has too be bottom 10-11.

    Can we see your hitters?

We had a guy who autodrafted the best pitching staff ever last year.

    He came in dead last.

    That's usually how it works.

Best staff ever means worst offense ever. Since pitching is so fragile and unpredictable, you're better off having best offense ever.

His pen is a huge question mark. My top three starters against his might be a wash And Scherzer and Hughes are going to open some eyes. I like my staff much better.

Plus I got a little offense too...

    C Matt Wieters
    C Geovany Soto
    1B Mark Reynolds
    1B Joey Votto
    2B Casey McGehee
    2B Ian Desmond
    3B Adrian Beltre
    3B David Freese
    SS Asdrubal Cabrera
    SS Alcides Escobar
    OF Jay Bruce
    OF Brad Hawpe
    OF Julio Borbon
    OF Rajai Davis
    OF Jason Heyward
    BN Seth Smith
    BN Clint Barmes
    BN Austin Jackson
    BN Russell Branyan

I'm taking a chance on Desmond, Freese, Jackson and Escobar. counting on a bounceback from Beltre, but some good young talent. wish it were a dynasty league.
