All you can eat section in GABP

I'm taking my son down to a game in a few weeks for his birthday, along with a couple of his friends and both his grandfathers. I'm considering getting tickets in the all you can eat section so I don't have to worry about either carrying in a bunch of stuff, or shelling out for a bunch of food at that game.

Has anyone here ever sat in that section who can tell me how well that works? It looks like there's only one line you can use to get your food, and I'm just wondering how easy it is to get your stuff.

Are you talking about getting club seats? Or view level seats on the LF line where they give free food & drink?

The ones along the LF line. They're like $30 each. Unless of course you've go the hook-up for some club seats.....

All I can say is that the lines can get really long. I don't know how long it takes people to get food, or what exactly the menu offers. I know they have free popcorn/peanuts/soft drinks/water/probably what would be the equivalent of the dollar hot dogs. As always I would recommend checking stubhub or something to minimize costs, but it's unlikely you'll find a package of 6 tickets.

And I don't have any special hookup for you unfortunately :\

I've been to the all you can eat section before. It was a very good experience. The seats are bunched together down the left field line. Relative to the attendance, there weren't many people in that section when I went (crowd was around 30,000).

They give you a plastic bracelet to wear for your food. The only concession stand you can go to is the one right near your seats. There were two people there to wait on us. They only offer soda, hot dogs, popcorn, and peanuts. There was absolutely no line at all during the entire game...that was the best part in my opinion and it's the reason I'd go back and do it again.

We sat here on Opening Day - even then very short lines. The soda is help yourself to the machine, fantastic! Seats aren't horrible either.

My son decided he wanted some other seats for this birthday, but I'll have to keep that in mind. Can you see the scoreboard from there?
