Interesting that Phillips is moved back to the 2 spot.
Lets get it!!!
Cincinnati Reds
Marshall Thundering Herd
Kentucky Wildcats
Indianapolis Colts
Washington Wizards
The REDS should get 8-10 plate appearances from the top two spots. The way it's been going, they'll only reach base 2 times total.
A great start to this new week, and to this new series would be for those top two spots to reach base 4 times today. Give Votto a few chances to knock in a run. With Rolen backing him up today, he might get better pitches to see.
Orlando Cabrera is 13-for-41 (.317) with four doubles, one homer and six RBIs against Randy Wolf
Phillips hitting in front of Votto is going to see some good pitches no matter what. He should have a big game tonight. Go Reds!!!
I hope Arroyo is more pitch efficient and doesn't have that 3-4 run inning he had last time (bullpen helped get 'em in).
I'm very happy to see that the REDS were able to recover from their Philly Phlop.
To have gone 2-0-1 in the first 3 series of the post All-Star break is just another in a long line of strong, positive character issues this team has shown REDS' fans this year.
The 2010 REDS are as ready as they've ever been to go on a real winning streak....10 out of 12....13 out of 16....something like that. It should begin to happen within 14 days. It will be hard to do without Rolen, but with Rolen it can be done.
If our top 2 hitters reach base 4 times tonight, we'll win the game.
I hope Rolen doesn't re-aggravate his hammy.
