    Up the Middle in the Minors...

    C, SS and CF are the highest valued positions on the ball field. Also the Hardest to develop in the Minors. Your lucky to have 2 prospects that project to ML Average at each position, let alone above average. The Reds must have a ton of 4 leaf clovers in GABP...

    Good summary. It's obvious that the Reds have really concentrated on those positions, and they seem to have executed very well. Not only is the depth there, but also a potential star or two at each spot--Hamilton, Rodriguez, Mesoraco, for starters.

    I didn't realize about Vidal. Interesting. But I have a feeling that Soto's days as a catcher might be just about over. It looks to me that he's settling in at 1B.

    Might you add Means to the CF list? The speed, and reportedly the defense, are certainly there.
