    There's No Escaping Sports

Nice article by Steve Rushin who I used to enjoy reading in SI. Even includes a Cincinnati twist.

When my Uncle John (Bullet) Burns died in Cincinnati in April, he was buried with his beloved Xavier University basketball tickets in his breast pocket and a can of Cincinnati's finest beer, Hudepohl Delight, at his side. Uncle John wasn't taking any chances on the veracity of the polka title, "In Heaven There is No Beer."

    Excellent read. Thanks, RichRed.

Follow the link to www.steverushin.com and read his 2007 Marquette commencement speech. Priceless.

Just read the commencement speech. Pretty awesome
