I still cringe each time Dusty babies Rolen and puts Cairo in the lineup. Last night I thought why not pull Rolen early with a big lead so he could go today. No problem, Cairo comes thru again. Give Dusty some credit too.

To be fair, I really don't think Cairo 'earned' a spot on this team with his Spring Training play and he did start off the year horribly. Bum was probably the proper choice back in April.

I don't really understand the apologies. The guy was absolutely dreadful early on, and was absolutely worthless to the team. He has given us good reason to appreciate him now, but back in April he deserved the criticism.

I apologize Miguel. I cursed you at the beginning of the year. I have been impressed as of late. In addition you provided me some entertainment.On Friday you hit a rope down first base-fair, but went into foul territory. I loved the show when the guy(an Astros fan) and his two kids in the section right by my seats was thrown out for picking up that ball while it was still in play.

I never called you a bum. I was unsure but hopeful that the guys in the front office knew a lot more than me and they surely do. You have been an asset all season and I am so glad that you come through in so many key situations - unlike many of our highly regarded starters, i.e. Stubbs and Bruce.

Thanks Reds front office for not listening to vittually clueless fans who think we know it all when we don't.

Anyway he plays some SS for us? He did play there 3 games last year with the Phills. OCab can take a hike
